Signposts and course marking
The whole course is marked with uniform signposts. These signposts are objects which are not used any more in our army. All of them are marked with 'radmarathon.ch'. Similar signposts with different inscriptions such as e.g. 'BQI' or 'XP27' mark temporary military routes and should not be paid any attention.
| This is how our signpost looks like! As a rule the signposts will be placed on kneelevel on the right side of the street. |

| Changes of direction will be indicated about 10 m, on fast courses about 50 m before a branch-off. When there are especially delicate changes of directions a signpost can also be placed at the official pre-signpost. | ![]() |

| At some branch-off points the signpost can also be placed at the vertex of the branch-off. | ![]() |
| Street spiders will be marked like changes of directions or with special signposts about 5 m after the branch-off. | ![]() |
| Round-abouts will be marked like changes of directions. If misunderstandings could arise, the exit from the round-about will be marked on the left side of the exit or in the center of the round-about. | ![]() |
| Special signposts will confirm the right direction.
They will be put after places with several branch-offs. On a main road you will find every 8 to 10 km a signpost which will indicate that you are on the right track. |

| If you see no signpost before, on or after a branch-off you can proceed in the same direction or along the road with an equal class. | ![]() |
| A signpost showing downwards indicates a checkpoint. | ![]() |
